William Horrex Obituary

On January 31, 2023, after a short battle with an aggressive cancer, long time Allison Lake resident, William (Bill) Clinton Horrex passed away peacefully in Oliver BC. Bill was 88 years old.

He was surrounded by family for his passing and expressed great gratitude for all of his family.

Bill had remained active playing golf at the Princeton Golf Course until this past year. He also enjoyed bowling with teams at both Princeton and then later in Osoyoos where he resided for the past few years.

For those of us who knew him, his story telling will always be remembered.

Bill will be remembered and sadly missed by his partner, Ann Roy; his 3 surviving children, Julie (Bert) Bjorndal of Chilliwack, BC, Lisa (Bill) Campbell of Edmonton, AB and Steve (Liz) Horrex of San Diego, CA; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; brother, Glenn (Phillipa) Horrex of New Zealand and sister Dianne Schwestak of Crofton, BC.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Amy Lynn Frame in February, 1998.

Bill wanted to be buried with his parents and other family members at the Armstrong Cemetery (date to be announced).

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
