Dennis Roy Helset

The family of Dennis Roy Helset of Vanderhoof, BC is saddened to announce his passing at the age of 63 years. Dennis passed away peacefully into the presence of Jesus with his family by his side on November 4, 2021.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Lynn; parents, Marlene and Roy; daughter, Shannon, and her children, Lena, Ethan and Tayla; son, David (Karly) and their children, Julia, Keisha and Tia; son, Matthew; daughter, Erika; and son, Tim; brothers, Tim (Penny) and Brian (Melanie); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his sister, Joanne (Gerald).

Dennis was the Pastor at Glad Tidings Tabernacle in Vanderhoof, BC and had served at various churches prior to that. He loved people, was an avid fisherman and canoer and loved to cook. He will be dearly missed by his family and by all who knew him.

The family wish to thank Dr. Little and the staff in the ICU at Penticton Regional Hospital for their compassionate care.

A Celebration of Dennis’ Life will be held at a later date in Vanderhoof, BC.
