As a boy growing up on the farm, Al dreamed of adventures far away, and lived his life pursuing these goals. Al always wanted to know what was around the next corner, as a result he saw many places most of us will most likely never see. Al was an explorer, fur buyer with the Hudson Bay Company, horseman, pilot, prospector, expert marksman and almost anything along the way.
He truly was an Indiana Jones in his own rite.
Al died June 26 at Oliver BC.
